This horse grooming kit has been so nice! Not only is the durability of the bag nice but the brushes themselves are pretty great. The bag makes the portability and the travel of these brushes easy, no more having to run back and forth, or losing your brushes in a flimsy tote. The different brushes you get in this bag make it all around an affordable choice, the bristle softness & firmness of each brush is unmatched. Giving you more of a variety for your grooming needs. You also have room to add any additional brushes to the mix, dealers choice. Utilize at your next show, vet visit or just at home.

This an incredibly high quality and stunning grooming set. Although, I'll admit that made me nervous to actually use it and get it used and dirty! It comes with a gorgeous leather bag that is well lined to help keep up with wear and tear. Very roomy for storage of al the grooming tools plus some extra space if you have any additional tools to put in it. It comes with a wide selection of tools that all worked very well to help remove dirt and debris from my horse. Probably the only thing I didn't find necessary and good have been better use for something else was the sponge. But between the curry, the soft and hard brush, and the deshedding tool, it all has worked incredibly well especially coming into spring and de-shedding season. This is a bit pricier of a grooming bag kit but it seems durable and is incredibly straightforward to use.

The tools in this cat are very nicely made, and include a couple of variations on standard tools that are particularly effective. As others have noted the Curry comb has some flexibility which makes it more comfortable to use, and it is true that the horses do love the "nubby" thing in the kit. Not only is the gear solidly made, but it's relatively attractive. In fact the only one minor complaint I have, but others Using the tools do not, is that occasionally one piece or the other looks a little too flashy for my taste. But since there is no accounting for taste, and the rest of my family loves the tools, You should probably ignore that. The bag is a slightly different story. Because of the really nice quality tools, Without we turn it into a permanent show bag. and make no mistake, it is a really nice bag, with lots of interesting in little pockets and looks more like a human makeup or show kit. It holds the tools nicely, but me and mine do not find it easy to use in the critter prep at shows. So the extra cool tools have gone back into the less-fancy grooming bag, and this one has been repurposed for human grooming :-) That is, my riders have coopted it for hair and makeup and related gear for shows. :-)

I decided to treat myself and buy this 8-piece grooming kit from Masiel Spark for my horse, and honestly, it has exceeded all my expectations. As soon as you open the box, you realize this isn't your typical cheap plastic set. The first thing that stands out is the leather bag. It’s beautiful, with a deep brown color, and you can tell it's genuine leather—durable, well-finished, and featuring an elegant embossed logo. It’s perfect for keeping everything organized in the tack room or for taking to shows. The brushes are on another level. They have wooden handles (beechwood, I believe) that feel incredibly sturdy and comfortable in your hand. The bristles are natural and varied: there are softer brushes for the face and stiffer ones for removing tough mud. My horse ends up super relaxed with an incredible shine on his coat. You can tell these tools are built to last. This is a professional, elegant, and functional kit. Highly recommended!

The bag is very nice, including a lovely carrying strap plus excellent hardware and magnetic closure. Very happy with the bag! The grooming items are sorta okay. However, the sponge is like dollar store cheap, and the metal curry & metal brush (photo of these two items in my review) are totally useless because the curry spins and the metal pieces on the brush crush, bend , and break! The squeegee is "okay" and the other brushes are usable. I don't love the hoof pick. Anyhow, the bag is the best part, but it isn't worth $100.00. This whole package is overpriced. I'm only giving it 4 stars right now.

The Masiel Spark grooming kit is top tier quality and a joy to use! Each piece features gorgeous monogramed wooden bases with real hair brushes, heavy duty metals, and ergonomic shapes that feel great in your hands. All the tools fit into a buttery soft, real leather case with numerous pockets and zipper sections to add more of your favorite grooming products. Be sure to see my video for a closer look at each tool. They are all very durable, easy to handle, have a nice grip, and work well to bring out the natural shine of your horse. This is a set to gift a horse professional or other equine enthusiast as they will appreciate a set that will stand up to years of use.

I got this set for the variety of tools it offers - massage brush, dandy brush, finishing brush, etc., and because the bag looked particularly enticing. I will say, at 9" deep and about 8" wide, the main interior pocket has room to spare. There are multiple mesh pockets inside and exterior zippered pockets. (The shoulder strap came tucked into one side pocket.) It's portable via the handles or the shoulder strap. I find the hook and loop closure on the hand carrying strap a bit easier to pick up and move with. The brushes themselves are pretty awesome. The bristles are exactly as I'd expect on the brushes. The hoof pick has METAL bristles, so keep that in mind. The pick end is solid. The sweat scraper is VERY solid, and I appreciate that it has a bit of give while maintaining its shape. It is well balanced, too. The bag itself is where I am torn. It IS very polished looking. The pebbled texture is soft to the touch just as leather is. I was anticipating the SMELL of leather, but instead it smells a lot like a faintly plastic chemical. It doesn't smell like leather at all. Heck, I compared the sniff test to some other items I have that are faux leather - and they smelled more like leather than this bag does. I could be wrong, it could be the combination of other materials the bag is made from. It's pretty well made, though the stitching on the outer pockets is a bit thin. Being leather, and being that it's likely to get some harder wear and tear, I would've liked to see a heavier waxed cord for the stitching. It looks a lot like regular thread, as one would use for stitching fabrics. The outer corner of the bag had a noticeable scuff on it. I think where the bag disappoints some, the tools shine. That said, for the cost of $100, if you're only looking for a set of tools and the materials are of less importance, this may not be the one for you. I will still get use out of these tools for grooming and maintenance, though I do wonder if there are sets with a better value per dollar out there.

What a thoughtful bag of grooming tools. I absolutely LOVE the bag and the tools. My horse even likes the massage tool and he normally hates to be groomed. I would say it’s a very good quality and value for the money. Even the sweat scraper has nice durable rubber. I have all my tools in this bag and it’s easy to carry by just throwing it over your shoulder. I bring it in and out of my tack locker every day. It’s very portable. I love the quality of the wood and even the hoof pick has a wire brush. This would make an excellent gift for a trainer or a friend who just enjoys good quality products. Could even splurge and buy yourself a nice gift.

I couldn’t be happier with this premium horse grooming kit! From the moment I opened the handcrafted leather bag, I could tell this was a truly high-end set. The attention to detail is impressive, and everything feels durable and thoughtfully designed. The beechwood brushes are not only gorgeous but also very sturdy, and the natural bristles are gentle yet effective on my horse’s coat. They remove dirt and loose hair effortlessly while still being comfortable for my horse, no irritation at all. I especially love how well-organized and stylish the leather bag is. It keeps everything neatly in place and is perfect for taking to the barn or shows. It definitely stands out compared to typical grooming kits.

This grooming kit really impressed me with its overall quality and durability. Everything feels strong, sturdy, and well-made. The brushes are solid and hold up well with use, and the natural bristles are effective without being too rough. The design is both functional and attractive. The set includes a great variety of tools, all thoughtfully put together, making it very convenient and easy to use. The bag is a standout feature—it’s made of a soft, malleable leather that feels really nice and gives it a high-end look. It’s flexible but still holds its shape well. I also love the dual zippers, which make it easy to open and access everything inside. A fun bonus—one of the brushes is so good I ended up keeping it for my own hair. It feels amazing on the scalp and works beautifully. Overall, this set offers great value for the quality. It’s durable, well-designed, and feels like a premium product. Highly recommend!

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
This is a super high-quality grooming kit. As an equine professional of 30 years, I’ve had my fair share of use with a wide variety of grooming tools. And I must say this set certainly ranks up there in both quality and function. The brushes alone are made of wood, not plastic or composite, and ultrasoft horse hair. Likewise, this sweat scraper is made of wood and metal and the hoof pick is made of wire bristles rather than plastic. The bag itself is luxurious yet functional with several pockets inside and out to stay organized as well as a shoulder strap for convenient carrying. All in all, this has everything necessary to meet all basic grooming needs and would make for a perfect gift for an equestrian enthusiast.

This is a very nice, complete, horse grooming kit, that would make a wonderful gift. The faux leather zippered bag is roomy, has a removable shoulder strap, and comes with a great variety of useful tools. All the tools have smooth wooden handles, and appear to be high quality. Especially appreciated are the hoof pick/brush, with wire bristles, and a very nice sweat scraper. The tool variety is perfect, and comes with the most used horse grooming tools. If tools of this quality were purchased separately, along with a nice bag, the price would be much higher.

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
The good: I love the bag. It's high quality leather, the dual zipper is very easy, and even has little feet to keep it clean. Pockets keep it organized, and plenty of room to hold the tools, plus I added a coat conditioner and hoof conditioner. The sweat scraper is lovely. It's heavy duty, super shiny and has a thicker blade and a smaller more flexible one. The metallic gold feels incredibly luxurious. Sponge is nice and think, and feels decent. Main brush is an actual brush with a nice feel- I would use it on my hair. Easily detangles. I like the wood feel of the handles a lot, smooth and nice to hold. The Meh: Brushes are too soft. I really couldn't fully get dust off using only the kit. Calling it a complete kit and not including a hard brush seems like a wild choice. It's nice for my sensitive mare on the face and legs, but it could really benefit from one stiffer brush to get dirt out. The hoof pick is just ok. The handle feels a bit thick and clunky. The pick part could be a bit longer as dirt wedges between the pick and the handle. The steel bristles are great for scrubbing thrush out, but I worry they may get stuck in the frog or be too damaging when hooves are softer. The not great: The curry comb is an exercise in patience. There's no way to lock it for use, so it spins and flips around while using it. The teeth aren't deep enough to really remove mud. It's kind of a useless tool in my mind, which feel weird as it would've been so simple to make this function. Overall: A beautiful bag with some decent tools. I'll keep it in my trailer and swap the curry comb and add a hard brush. Plenty of room to organize more so that's a win. I don't know that it's fully worth the price point but the bag is lovely.

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
The weather finally improved enough for me to get a chance to try out all these pieces. The bag for all the grooming products is very well made, has a detachable shoulder strap as well as the handle strap on the bag itself. It feels and looks very high end and would be the envy of anyone at the barn. I have the luxury of having horses on my own property so I don't have anyone to impress. lol. The only problem I see with the bag is the net pouches. The one on the inside top flap could be used for any number of items, including ring bands, grooming cloths or other similar lightweight items. The ones on the insides tend to catch on the included items. You can't use them for the curry or pin brush because they get stuck, it would be nice if the long side pouches were solid and the ends could stay the same for sponges or other items that won't get stuck and might need more air access. I have views on each piece of equipment: I love the round metal curry (not something I thought I would ever say) because I had never had one that would move. The base of it is rather springy, it does move around some but it is so much easier on my wrist than the solid variety. It "gives" as you brush and you get the hang of moving it over the horse and flipping it over, so you don't have to stop and clean it off...just flip it over and brush until it fills, then shake it and the hair comes off pretty easily. And it doesn't put pressure on my wrist so there isn't any pain, very ergonomic. The hoof pick is the type I like and the handle is nicely substantial so great to get hold of. The hook is well embedded into the wood and I didn't feel any instability. The brush is wire so it can really clean off everything and give you a good look. The softest brush is a bit too soft for my liking. It was even too soft for a face brush except perhaps as a finishing to flick off the last hairs (my horses are just starting to shed). Maybe I will change my mind after they have completely shed. The dandy is a nice finishing brush with soft bristles. The wooden backs on these are so nice but just be sure that when you wash them (I vacuum mine first) that you leave them bristles down to allow for good drainage and full drying. The horses LOVED the nubby massager brush, especially on their faces. The sponge is just an average sponge. The sweat scraper is nicely made with a thick rubber edging, but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. All in all this is a great value since I seriously doubt you could put together all these pieces for this price, especially considering the quality of the pieces.

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
The bag is a nice touch and held everything with ease, it is a little odd to have mesh pockets and things can and will get stuck in the mesh but overall a nice bag. This set is worth it just from the sweat scraper and face brushes. The sweat scraper is the beefiest sweat scraper I have ever seen and the rubber is stiff but also supple to get every roll and crease whicked of water. The two face brushes are also the softest most forgiving brushes I have felt, true fiber bristles not cheap nylon or plastic bristles. My only complaint is that the hoof pick is way too beefy to get a proper grip on it. I am a woman and already have large, I will admit almost manly, hands and it was still massive. I mean good for quality but not a practical density for that piece at least. Do you need a $100 grooming setup, egh not really, but it is still a rather nice set if you have the extra funds to spend on it.

I picked up this kit to keep in the truck when we travel. The presentation is sharp, the leather bag looks classy and has plenty of room for the included tools. The brushes, pick, and scrapers are of high quality with wood handles instead of plastic. The bag also has a shoulder strap you can use. It's great to have everything in one place, my stuff in the barn seems to constantly go missing with having a steady stream of students and clients passing through. By keeping this one in the truck, I've always got access and don't have to waste a bunch of time looking for stuff that wasn't put back where it should be. I give this one a thumbs up.

This grooming kit has everything you would need to take care of your horse when away at a show or at home. The leather carrying case is just gorgeous! And has tons of pockets both inside and outside. More than enough room to hold all the grooming tools that it came with. My top two favorite are the super soft body brush, and the massage tool. The bristles on the brush are long and silky soft, so you can easily flick off dust on show day. And the massage tool has a padded base the the wooden knobs come out of, so when you press it on the skin, it flexes and shapes around the contours of your horses body so it is a very gentle massage. I even used it on my husband's back before taking it to the barn and he loved it! I took off a star for the review because the main zipper pocket that has a handle, so two zippers one on each side, that slide at the same time to open.... is not a good zipper, it catches on either side and you have to slowly work it to get it to open. It works, just not in one smooth motion to open the bag. Also, the hoof pick is very wide, so when you hold onto it, its a little awkward.

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
The Masiel Spark Premium kit is an interesting value proposition that ultimately feels like a high-end luggage purchase bundled with standard utility tools. The standout feature here is the carry bag; it is easily the nicest leather bag I own, featuring a quality of craftsmanship and material that justifies the "premium" tag. The leather is supple yet durable, and as a storage solution for the homestead or the stable, it’s far superior to the plastic or nylon totes found in most kits. If you are someone who values aesthetic and high-quality organization, the bag alone makes this set worth considering. As for the grooming tools themselves, they are decent but don't quite match the "absurd" price point of the overall kit. While they feature nice wood trim that feels good in the hand, the actual bristles and combs are fairly standard. I was also surprised to find that the kit lacks a traditional hard brush, which is usually a staple for knocking off dried mud and heavy debris. Essentially, you are paying for an elite-tier leather bag that happens to come with a solid, middle-of-the-road grooming set. If you’re looking for a gift-quality presentation or a luxury upgrade for your tack room, it’s a great buy, but seasoned grooms may find themselves adding a few extra brushes to fill out the kit

Yeah this is a fancy grooming bag. The d shutter brushes my favorite.I love the little round ones. My horses love the little massager. The brush at the end of the hoof pick is actually like steel wool, so it does something when you're brushing away the mud. Just be careful you don't leave anything behind.Because sometimes the little hairs come out. Even though sponge is actually high quality. I feel like a fancy pants not that i'm impressing anybody other than my horses. The palm brushes are nice. Don't get me started on the bag, beautiful

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
I had to edit this, after using it only 4 times the zippers on the top of the bag broke and no longer zipper. I’ve been careful with this bag because the zippers felt not great, and it did not take them very long with careful use to no longer work. Incredibly disappointing I really wanted to love this grooming kit because it looks absolutely stunning and feels very “luxury” at first glance. The handcrafted leather bag is genuinely beautiful — it has tons of pockets for organized storage and definitely gives off a bougie, high-end vibe. That said, the zippers aren’t very smooth and can be frustrating to zip and unzip. As for the tools themselves, it’s a mixed bag. The soft finishing brush is super soft and lovely to use. The dandy brush is also nice and does a good job. The massage brush was actually one of my favorite pieces — my horse clearly enjoyed it, and it feels well made. Unfortunately, some of the other items fell short. The tail comb is actually more of a brush, and it arrived with bent pins. It pulled hair and wasn’t pleasant to use. The grooming sponge is just a basic sponge — nothing special. The sweat scraper is really nice overall, but one of the metal pieces is loose. The metal curry comb is awkward to use because the metal portion spins and doesn’t lock into place while grooming. The worst item in the set, in my opinion, is the hoof pick with brush. It’s very wide and uncomfortable to hold, and the metal wire brush actually stabbed my finger when I pulled it out of the bag. Overall, there are some really nice pieces in this kit, but the inconsistent quality and a few poorly designed items make it hard to justify the “premium” label. It’s pretty and functional in parts, but I expected better durability and finishing for the price.

8-Piece KitVine Customer Review of Free Product
This bag and grooming kit feels like very nice quality. I believe the bag is genuine leather. I don’t see any markings that indicate leather, but it feels right and it smells right. It’s nice and thick. It’s rugged but buttery at the same time. Inside is a main compartment with six netted pockets around the sides and a netted pocket on the top. On the outside, there are three zippered pockets, and it comes with a shoulder strap. The grooming pieces are high-quality. All the brushes are beautiful beechwood, and very sturdy. The face brush is nice and soft. This is a full grooming kit. It has everything you need to tend your horse. This is so nice that I think it would make a really nice gift for a horse lover. The price is on the high end for a grooming kit, but you are getting very nice quality pieces. For all of those reasons, I’m giving it five out of five stars.

I absolutely love this Premium Horse Grooming Kit. The first thing that stood out to me was the beautiful leather bag. It’s gorgeous and really well made. It keeps everything organized and gives the whole set a very high-end look. The grooming tools themselves are also great quality. The beechwood brushes and natural bristles feel sturdy and well crafted, and they work really well when grooming. Everything in the kit feels durable and comfortable to use. Overall, this set looks and feels much more expensive than it actually is. It honestly looks like I spent a ton of money on it. I would definitely recommend it for horse owners or riders, and it would make a really nice gift too.

The hand brushes in this set are wonderfully made with natural bristles in a great wooden grip that feels nice in hand. The soft brush is great on the face while the stiffer bristles do a great job removing the dirt and sand on my horse from rolling. The case is nice and roomy in faux leather. Plenty of space to add other needed items. This set was with the 4 brushes. Definitely a good buy for its construction and materials its made from.

This grooming kit is beautiful! The brushes are well-made. My kit came with 4 brushes, each very good quality. It comes in a vinyl bag that is convenient for holding all of the brushes. The handles are all wood and the bristles are quite well made from natural materials. This looks like it will last a long time!
